Liquid Radiance Clear Peptide Bronzing Mousse

Step 1:

• Shave and exfoliate within 24 hours of application, making sure previous self-tan applications have been removed to avoid splotchiness and uneven fading.

Step 2:

• Apply to clean, dry skin, free from oil and moisturizers. Pump generously onto the application mitt. Working in sections, apply to legs, arms, and body with long sweeping motions.
• Use what’s leftover on the mitt for hands, elbows, knees, and feet after finishing the application to the body.
• Carefully rinse the palms of your hands after application.

Step 3:

• Allow to dry for 5-10 minutes before dressing. You’ll be noticeably bronze within 2 hours; allow to fully develop for 6-8 hours. No rinsing required.
• The tan will continue to deepen for 24-48 hours, reapply as desired to build more color and repeat every 5-7 days or as needed. Moisturize daily to maintain results.

How does a clear self-tanner work if there's no color in the mousse?

The formula doesn't need a cosmetic guide color to create a tan. DHA and Erythrulose react with amino acids at the surface of the skin, gradually developing visible color after application.

If it's clear, how do I know where I've applied it?

Use a tanning mitt and work methodically in sections, using long, overlapping motions to ensure even coverage. Apply sparingly around hands, feet, elbows, knees, and ankles.

Do I have to rinse it off? 

Nope. Unlike many color-guided tanning mousses containing synthetic dyes, this formula is designed to develop without a rinse-off step.

Can I apply it in the morning and wear it all day?

Definitely. It’s clear, lightweight formula is designed to disappear on skin while your tan develops, making it an easy choice for daytime wear.

When will I see my tan?

You'll begin to notice color developing within approximately 2 hours, allow to fully develop over 6–8 hours before sweating or showering. The color will continue to deepen over the next 24-48 hours. 

Will it transfer onto my clothes or sheets?

Nope! Because the formula is clear and contains no guide-color dyes, it avoids the cosmetic color transfer associated with tinted tanning products. Always allow the mousse to dry completely before dressing and no need to worry about waking up with stained sheets. 

How dark will I get?

The formula comes in 3 shade options: Light/Medium, Dark, and Ultra Dark. The Light/Medium is best for fairer skin and will give a soft glow, the Dark suites a more neutral skin tone and provides more of a noticeable tan, and the Ultra Dark is good for experienced self-tan users to provide a deep tan. The product is customizable, so results vary depending on your natural skin tone and amount used during application. 

Can I layer it for a darker result?

Yes, you can reapply as desired to build color. Once you've reached your preferred bronze, maintain it with regular moisturizing, then exfoliate and reapply approximately every 5–7 days or as needed.

Should I moisturize before applying?

For the most even application, start with clean, dry skin free from oils and moisturizers. If you're particularly dry, you can use a very small amount of moisturizer on areas that absorb more pigment such as elbows, knees, hands, and ankles to help prevent them from grabbing excess color.

How can I prevent my hands and feet from developing too dark?

Less is more. Instead of adding fresh mousse, use only the product remaining on your mitt and lightly blend across hands and feet. Pay extra attention around knuckles, wrists, ankles, and between fingers and toes.
